My Year 3 students absolutely love these! A pretty straight forward concept that can be adapted to any part of the mathematics curriculum. Student can play these puzzles independently, whilst developing their awareness of different mathematical language, speed of mathematical computation and practising important times tables and division sums. This is a great example of differentiating mathematical tasks for all learning levels within the class. I use it as a "fast finishers" activity, free time options and extension for some mathematical concepts.
